Grand Aquarium

We stayed here at the beginning of July and will be returning! Very clean, very beautiful hotel with fantastic food. The staff are extremely helpful and amazing! Big shout to Sally she's amazing, also Bucky, Gigi and all the amazing restaurant staff! Cant wait to see you all again in September ♥️♥️

Just home from a lovely week at this lovely hotel. I cannot fault the hotel itself as it was amazing. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was massive the only downside is its on the third floor with no lift. There are 2 pools 1 main 1 with a slide that comes on twice a day or a much quieter 1 in the annexe building. This hotel has a lot of lovelu staff that work really hard long shifts. Our highlight was Mr ali in the bar/restaurant he was a lovely man so friendly but not in ur face. The entertainment team work so hard also especially the 3 boys. The only downside of this hotel is its location it is right at the back of the old town so if u want to go out for dinner only tommys bar, (which is amazing) or u have to get the bus or taxis. Also be careful and check ur receipts when topping up ur card we had 1000 lira on ours when we left so asked for it back and got told only 500. And when I booked in they tried to charge me £10 more then it should've been for the air con so just check everything. Other then that a lovelu chilled week 👍

Where to start... I had me reservations about coming to Turkey as this was my first time and our first family holiday, however this hotel was amazing. The staff are just lovely and so professional. When we went out with the hotel and to other places you were being constantly hassled to enter shops and restaurants. Not once did I experience this at the hotel. If you don't want to do something the staff are very friendly and don't pressure you. The restaurant team are amazing so helpful and accommodating and you get a good laugh with them all, food is amazing and the drinks and all very reasonably priced. Entertainment team are fantastic and you really can understand why people return here every year. You just feel so welcomed and relaxed and like one big family. Saliye is amazing and always there to answer any questions or help, we seen her pretty much every day talking to everyone and making sure the children all wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water. The reception team are lovely and so helpful honestly everyone in this hotel are just lovely and made the holiday amazing. Book the BBQ and pool party it was well worth the money so much food and a great time. You are a bit further out from the main town but there is a dolmus that takes you and it's very cheap and just outside the hotel your there in minutes. We actually didn't mind the distance as it was such a relaxing holiday for us and all of our excursions included pick up from our hotel so we managed to see lots of marmaris and icmeler anyway. Rooms were lovely and spacious and I was very surprised to find a hob and pots and pans etc for cooking. This was a nice touch also very clean rooms and cleaners were so helpful and friendly. The cats in the complex are lovely and kids absolutely adore them. All vaccinated and friendly. To sum it up this place was so much better than I could have imagined and we hope to book again soon it was just amazing. We are all so gutted to be back home now but we have memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to all the team at Grand Aquarium, hope to see you all again soon!

Amazing hotel, food was very good. Staff will go above and beyond for you. Rooms were clean and well kept. Entertainment team was phenomenal, always getting everyone involved both by the pool and at night a special shout out to Bucky and Cedric especially GeeGee

Just back from 10 wonderful nights at the Grand Aquarium. Our first visit to Turkey and we were not disappointed. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (342) which had a separate large sitting room and kitchen. Apartment was very spacious and comfortable. As per previous reviews, the staff really make this hotel special. The entertainment team of GiGi, Baki and Cedric are great and kept all the family entertained. The bar and restaurant staff are amazing and nothing is too much hassle. A special mention to Ali, Mehmet and Mohammed who kept the drinks flowing .... Another special mention to Sally who helped us when Adam was sick. She contacted a doctor for us and even collected his antibiotics - thanks again Sally. Highly recommend this hotel. Yes it is a little outside the centre but only a quick taxi or Dolmus bus ride. I recommend bringing Turkish Lira in cash for the bingo and activities etc as the nearest ATM is about a 10 minute walk.
